Grand Opening of Best Hair Outlet’s Website Offers Help for the Reportedly 73% of Women Who Claim to Have Damaged Hair

(PRWEB) April 4, 2006 -- A study by Proctor & Gamble reveals that a reported 73% of women say they suffer from damaged hair. The Grand Opening of BHOwigs.com offers an affordable solution for those with distressed tresses. Instead of increasing wear on their hair with dye jobs and processing, women can now give their locks a break with Best Hair Outlet’s discount wigs and hair pieces.

They carry a variety of looks including celebrity wigs, ebony wigs, clip in hair extensions, high fashion wigs, ponytail hair extensions, cheap Indian remi hair, synthetic hair pieces and natural hair pieces. The convenient navigation panel allows visitors to browse by brand or style to find the wigs that best suit them. BHOwigs.com offers enough styles of discount wigs that women will be able to find their style, whether it be short and modest or long and sultry.

The low prices available at Best Hair Outlet make the option of having multiple styles alluring. Women can choose a few wigs and hair pieces to make their collection satisfy their daily whims. This variety is one of the factors that made the TV show “Alias” so popular. Thousands of women would tune in just to see what character Jennifer Garner would become that week and which wig she would don to express her new persona. BHOwigs.com is a way for women of non-celebrity status to achieve their own variety and create their own “Alias”. The discount wigs at Best Hair Outlet make seeing what it would be like to be a redhead or a blonde or whatever color you can dream of an affordable reality with the dyeing and damaging commitment.

The owner of BHOwigs.com, Sam Chang, wants to offer help to women that suffer from damaged or thin hair. He aims to bring customers, “affordable wigs that are in style and of the best quality.” Although this is their Grand Opening, Mr. Chang sees a promising future for his online venture, “We are here to last! To be affordable and accessible and to always be one step of the competition is our goal.”

Mr. Chang has good reason to be so confident. He has been in the cosmetic industry since the mid 1980s and is the owner of one of the top beauty supply chains in Southern California. Besides his goal of providing quality wigs and hair pieces to anyone looking online, Mr. Chang considers customer service to be an equally high priority, “We are dedicated to great customer service; we really want to make our customers satisfied after each purchase.”

Sam Chang is the owner of Best Hair Outlet, Inc. He began his career in Korea manufacturing make-up brushes in the mid 1980s. He has since expanded his extensive background in beauty supply to retail, where he owns one of the top beauty supplies in Southern California.

Whether your hair is

Whether your hair is long or short, relaxed or natural, keeping a fall or extension on hand can alter your everyday look without cutting your hair.

Use pomade or light gel to style your hair, then clip bangs or a fall in place for a completely new look. Attach a ponytail and twist it into a chignon at the nape of your neck, or shape it into a bun to wear atop your head. Use decorative hair accessories to hold falls and extensions in place and to change a look before returning to your usual style.

Extensions, made of either real or synthetic hair, can be used to make your hair look thicker or longer. They can match your own hair texture and color or you can choose to contrast your natural hair for a unique style statement. Extensions are braided, woven, "sewn," or "glued" to your own hair to last three to four weeks. Some extensions last until they fall out or are cut out.

Have you ever wanted to have long, straight strawberry blonde hair?

Have you ever wanted to have long, straight strawberry blonde hair? Or a head of delicate dark curls? Your hair fantasies can come true when you purchase a wig. But since prices range so dramatically for wigs (from under $100 to more than $800 per wig), it's a good idea to know how to shop for one. Here is what you need to know:
· There are three types of wigs: 100% synthetic; 100% real hair and a combination of both.
· Synthetic hair looks real but it doesn't feel as soft as genuine hair. And synthetic hair cannot be styled. The style you buy is the style the wig keeps. It's the least expensive of all hairpieces, and probably your best bet if you merely want a fashion accessory you can throw in your suitcase when you take a trip.

· 100 % human hair, on the other hand, can be styled and will look and feel "real." This is your best bet if you want to wear your wig every day. It's the most expensive kind of wig, but will last for years.
· A blend of human hair and synthetics cost less than 100% human hair, but it has a more natural appearance and feel than synthetic, and it can be styled.
· Comfort begins with a good fit. George Mayer, president of Jacquelyn Wigs says it's possible to find a wig that is as comfortable as your own hair. All good wigs today are made with a "capless" construction, meaning strips of hair cover the crown of your head and you can actually reach through your wig to scratch the top of your head. Good wigs are not longer made with a bathing cap-like base clinging to your scalp.
· If you buy your hairpiece at a wig salon, including Jacquelyn Wigs, you will get advice in making the right style choice and a stylist will be on hand to style the wig to fit your face. If you buy your wig through the mail, be prepared to take it to a stylist to have it shaped and styled to your face. "Even if you get the best hairpiece in the world, it can look 'wiggy' if it's not shaped properly to suit your face," Mayer says.
· Maintenance is important. Wash it after 12 ? 15 wearings. Always keep your own hair clean underneath to reduce frequency of washing. Apply a spray-on conditioner for shince once or twice a week. To spot restyle, add mousse or get and use electric rollers on a medium setting. Never use a curling iron unless your hairpiece is 100% human.
· If you are wearing a wig to cover hair loss, it's a good idea to have 3 or 3 so that you can trade off. "It's like wearing shoes, heat and sweat builds up and it's always best to rotate them," says Mayer.
· The absolute best (and most expensive) wigs are hand made 100% human hair. You will have the most styling options, and your hair will look real. By building the wig strand by strand, the crown of the wig falls in many directions, which looks more like real hair. (http://beauty.ivillage.com/hair/cutsstyling/0,,h3g9,00.html)

the world of celebrity beauty

the airbrushed cover photos, the custom-made push-up bras, the hovering makeup artists, the nicks, tucks and implants -- nothing is sacred. But some celebrity looks are easier to get than others.

One of the simplest ways to achieve a red carpet look is to treat yourself to hair extensions. In fact, says Eliut Rivera, hairstylist to the stars from EM Studio in New York, extensions have become so common that if you picture a music or movie star with amazing hair, you're probably seeing at least a few extensions.

"If their hair is great, extensions enhance the look," he notes. "If their hair is not so great, extensions save the look."

Are hair extensions right for you? It depends on your hair type and your level of commitment. Rivera's favorites are extensions that attach to the hair with tiny clip-on combs. The plusses: They look the most natural and are healthiest for the hair. The minuses: They won't last more than a night and can be pricey at first. Clip-on hair extensions have to be custom made. Your stylist orders human hair close to your type and dyes it to match your color. He or she then sews in the combs. Depending on the number of pieces you use, it could cost $1,000 or more. But after that initial expense, Rivera says, these extensions can be used over and over again. "A woman who is great at handling hair can apply them to herself," he adds. Or you can simply schedule an appointment with your stylist to blow out your hair, allowing for time to apply the extensions.

Extensions that are glued to strands of hair, like Great Lengths, require more maintenance. It takes about three to four hours to apply them the first time, but when you come back for new extensions, it takes at least six or seven hours to take off the old extensions and apply new ones. Another downside, says Rivera, is that they tend to hang in clusters, with separation or space between the extensions -- plus the glue can ravage the hair.

A cheaper version of the clip-on can be had if you go for synthetic or nonhuman hair extensions. Available at some beauty supply stores, they can add sex appeal or length to your look when new. But synthetic hair has a short life span. It frizzes easily and cannot be blown dry. Freshening and fixing synthetic hair usually entails a trip to a wig maker, which may be costly.

Rivera loves the clip-on combs because they "put the special in the evening." "Hair extensions aren't for every day," he says. "They're for special times when you want that extra glamour. When you use them for special occasions, they're sexier, and they never fail to boost your confidence."
